  • Maintain high performing service support functions including and Data Centre Services, Data Centre Fit Up, Data Centre Expansion.
  • Owner of the Incident, Request, Change and Escalation processes for Data Centre, ensuring high levels of performance in these processes, accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities when required
  • As owner of the escalation process the Service Delivery Manager will take ownership of major incidents to ensuring coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders and post incident review
  • Monitor, control and support service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed
  • Champion Service and Support in projects and developing a strong understanding of projects impacting your service area and ensuring service impact is minimised and agreed
  • Be accountable for the quality of Service and performance; ensuring future demand from growth and projects is understood and factored into capacity plans for all associated systems
  • Drive internal and third-party service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes
  • Make recommendations for Service Improvement Plans and ensure actions are followed through to completion in a timely manner
  • Work with internal and third-party teams to ensure actions are taken and completed to protect and improve services
  • Provide regular and accurate management reporting on Data Centre Services performance
  • Be an ambassador for the company, working across the business to provide effective communication on Data Centre matters and build relationships with other teams to ensure effective dialogue between departments
  • Tertiary qualification in Electronics Engineering/Telecommunications or ICT area OR equivalent experience.
  • Well-developed Project Delivery skills.
  • Significant Project Delivery experience in the telecommunications and ICT and Data center industry (5 years or more).
  • Demonstrate ability and a proven record of working with customers and 3rd party vendors.
  • Demonstrate ongoing competency in the management of Projects that include multiple projects and sub-projects.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage and lead a team of resources.
  • Strong people management skills.

    Data Centres

  • Manages and operates Data Center.
  • Responsible for structured cable installation at Data Center
  • Maintain the stock inventory item required for cross connect;
  • Responsible for the testers: UTP tester, fiber tester, OTDR.
  • Maintain office network, such as Firewall, Access Point, IP phone
  • Maintain Data Center Security and BMS network (CCTV, Card Access, TOU)
  • Manage the provisioning and maintenance of colocation network services such as DIA, IP Transit, EPL, IPLC

  • Network Provisioning

  • Provides provisioning support and technical guidance for both new orders and existing circuits to ensure successful completion and smooth maintenance as required by customers
  • Performs end-to-end testing of fundamental circuits for proper monitoring and evaluation of speed, connectivity, and quality.
  • Create and update network diagrams for all provisioning
  • Manages Service Completion Document for completed provisioned orders
  • Perform end-to-end circuit testing at customers' sites for Singapore local loop portion

  • Network Planning and Operations

  • Manages, configures, operates and maintains the network equipment - DWDM, SDH, Metro-E, Switches & Routers (CISCO, Juniper, Extreme network), Carrier Ethernet (Raisecom)
  • Provides technical support, maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, configuration, system testing, and documentation of the circuits that has been provisioned
  • Manage AAG, BSCS and IRU capacity
  • Update capacity for network equipment and cross connect patch panel at data center
  • Liaise and coordinate with vendors on troubleshooting network equipment which will include faulty equipment repairs and replacements (RMA)
  • Supervises vendor maintenance and implementation work
  • Work closely with vendor on the network expansion and improvement. This includes expansion projects and software bug patches
  • Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or Electronics Engineering
  • 3 - 5 years experience in network testing (layer 1/2/3 circuits), troubleshooting and configurations of network and network equipment
  • Working knowledge of fiber optics, DWDM, routers, switches
  • Working knowledge of telco testers (Ethernet/SDH/power meter, OTDR)
  • Preferably with CCIE certification
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to manage the demands of customers
