Telin Singapore aligns with the Association of Banks in Singapore by securing OSPAR

4 April 2019, Singapore – Telekomunikasi Indonesia International Pte Ltd (Telin Singapore), a wholly-owned subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia, has completed the prestigious Outsourced Service Provider Audit Review Report (OSPAR) that is in compliance with the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS). 

Obtaining OSPAR is part of Telin Singapore’s plan to increase its client base in the financial sector as these clients require technology providers to be in compliance with a set of guidelines rolled out by ABS, a non-profit organisation that represents the interests of the commercial and investment banking community. ABS requires the financial institutions (FIs) in Singapore to have their outsourced service providers audited by an independent auditor to ensure that they maintain the same level of governance, rigour, and control as the FIs themselves. 

“The OSPAR proves that our controls and processes are secure and robust. Through obtaining OSPAR, our financial services clients could rest assured that their data is securely stored according to the highest security standards in our data centres. A loss or breach of customer confidential data and disruption to banking services will result in reputational and financial damage to the FIs,” said Andreuw Th.A.F, CEO of Telin Singapore. 

In addition, Telin Singapore has also achieved the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Compliance (PCI DSS), an information security standard for organisations that handle branded credit cards from the major card schemes.
